Ribbon was beautiful at Davey's

Did anyone hear Ribbon at our last show? Yeah, we meant to do that...Nick would like to thank the rest of the band for going into "jazz odyssey" when he forgot how to play music...besides that, Davey's was a great show, probably our favorite little club in KC for live music, old school video games, Sierra Nevada on tap, wood paneling on the walls, what more could you ask for? Behind The Music: Meet The New Bass Player!

...if you see us this summer please say hi to our new bass player Curt Coolidge...he is one bad dude on the bass and also extremely fun to hang out with...rumour has it Curt has a famous uncle...also he is on loan from the Billy Doores Band, country when country wasn't cool...Curt is helping the band shape our new songs, two of which debuted at the Bottleneck show...new songs are being compared to early U2 and The Killers, goodbye twang!!...see you at the massive July 14 show when Red Guitar "storms" the Hurricane in Kansas City on Bastille Day, oui oui!!

Red Guitar is a melody first rock and roll band - a mixture of The Fray and Coldplay and Ryan Adams, the best pop intentions mixing with their alt-country past sailing into the glorious future...
