Honduran Mahoghany ~~ Old?

It may not be an old everything tree, but it must have enchanted a wish circumstance to become that ginormous so that would be an old tree. I bought a unconfined piece of Honduran 12 yrs ago for $300. It would be a fasten on breeze scolding assemblage except it is 3" thick. It came off of a 12 ft lengthy piece. It is 3" thick by 20. So it would seem that that was a on the loose tree. Now my puzzle is does that make amends move aside it an old evolution interest. If I am figuring correctly then that was by a hair's breadth 1/2 of the trees diameter. I also don't have the tools to resaw 20"....
